This ride is a Walt Disney original that allows guests to board one of ten boats that seat around 25 people and motors up the river where the shipmates get to view plastic animals frolicking in the water while the boat’s Skipper act as guides on this voyage.
I do like the fact that this is an original Walt Disney creation, but that is about all that I like about it. Now that Disney has the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction at the Animal Kingdom, the Jungle Cruise appears old-school and obsolete, yet the lines are as long as anytime in the ride’s history. The boat skippers do their best to entertain with their corny jokes and one-liners, but in spite of their best efforts, it can be painful to endure.
