- Sporadically watch an indoor show so the air conditioning cool you down.
- After a day or two in the parks, take one day to relax, sleep in, enjoy the pool, and browse around the Disney resorts.
- Get up early and get to the parks at the “rope drop.” This will allow you to get on several rides before the large crowds arrive and allow you to maybe head back to the hotel for a dip in the pool and miss the afternoon rush.
- Be equipped with comfort items such as appropriate shoes, ponchos, sunglasses, and snacks.
- Having an iPod or other entertainment device to keep children (and maybe adults) occupied during long waiting periods.
